Presenting the 2007 Golden Item Awards! March 4th, 2007 at 2:00 am by Darth CitrusWell the day has finally come! After receiving over 100 nominations for over 40 different sites, the results are in! This was a year of first as we saw the first ever recipents of the Golden Light Arrow for Most Lively Forums and the Golden Mirror Shield for Lifetime Achievement. In addition to that, this year also marked the first time a previous winner has won an award, as well as a single site recieving two awards in the same year! But enough chatter. The winners of the 2007 Golden Item Awards: The Golden Deku Nut for Most Unique Site - Zelda Reorchestrated The Golden Bomb Plant for Most Stunning Site - Zelda Europe The Golden Ocarina for Most Aspiring Site - Zelda Europe The Golden Light Arrow for Most Lively Forums - HTLOZ II The Golden Mirror Shield for Lifetime Achievement - The Desert Colossus Congratulations to the winners of this year’s awards. Umm… about TDC and how active the members are… in truth, only about 30-50 members are truly active. On any given day, you can find at most, 12 people on at once… Yeah, I know, not really that active… >_

Be that as it may, DMG, that’s probably why TDC didn’t win the award for most lively forums.
Lifetime achievement sounds quite fitting for that site.

The only one of those I have actually been to is The Desert Collossus, and it pretty neat. Reorchestrated looks pretty neat too, I think I’ll check that out now.
